Maxx Impact Group
Marketing Designer
MIG (Maxx Impact Group) is a consulting firm that helps smaller contractors get a piece of the bigger pie. MIG provides services for compliance and workforce. Typically, these sorts of companies don’t have a marketing department but MIG uniquely does.
I work with many external entities contracted with MIG on a daily basis to help provide collateral such as newsletters, event promos, guides, photography, and any requested original graphics. I’m also the webmaster/ web-designer for multiple websites at MIG.
Long-form Reports
There are times where an MIG client would request a report that consolidates all of the accomplishments achieved in the past year. I’m responsible for the massive report for DEN. There was no precedence with MIG so this report was made from the ground up. I worked closely with leadership to translate raw data and parse written content into an organized report. I made sure my designs were consistent in accordance with DEN’s brand guide, created original graphics, and sourced appropriate photography, and created an easily digestible document. I worked with DEN directly in the final stages of the report. The document was published with nearly a hundred pages and had the seal of approval from both DEN and MIG leadership.
Key Art Graphics
I’m the initial designer at MIG for creating new original key art that is used to set the tone and feel of campaigns or events.
I foster a concept with leadership and clients until the design is finalized then handoff the art to another designer who will translate and expand the singular piece into varied collateral and distributed through multiple avenues.
Newsletters
Newsletters for MIG’s clients is one of the few projects that are always consistent. I’m provided with content from dozens of sources throughout the month and consolidate the information to create newsletters that go out to thousands of subscribers. I take it upon myself to create original graphics not just contextually but also design flairs to make up for the CRM’s limitations, this helps with flow and dynamics so that the newsletters feel livelier.
These newsletters are all still live so instead of publishing outrageously tall screenshots, feel free to visit some of the actual newsletters:
Request for Proposal (RFP)s and Capability Statements
MIG is always growing and reaching out to potential clients so I’m often tasked with creating request for proposals and capability statements to aid in contracting new business. In my time at MIG, I’ve made numerous multi-page RFPs and CSs but all of which are custom tailored to the potential client. I unfortunately, cannot publish these as is because these documents are confidential and contain privileged information but here is a highly sanitized example of an RFP:
